Whole-school Language Policy:
In our school, the education policy of "biliteracy and trilingualism" has long been strongly emphasized. English split-class teaching is adopted in Secondary 1 to Secondary 6 classes. Chinese and Maths split-class teaching is adopted in S.1 to S.3 classes. Bridging courses are offered for S.3 to S.4 students to help them to adapt to the change of medium of instruction in learning. There are four classes in each of S.1 to S.3. Of these four classes, two classes adopt English as the medium of instruction, while two classes adopt both Chinese and English as the medium of instruction. All S.1 and S.2 students use English as the medium of instructions in Integrated Science and Life and Society in order to enhance students' English proficiency. For senior secondary levels, 4 classes in each of S.4 to S.6 are split into 5 classes in order to enhance teacher-student interaction and language learning.

Learning and Teaching Strategies:
According to EDB's focus inspection report, our school has nurtured students' good characters and positive learning attitude through both the formal and informal curricula. Moreover, our school has provided students with various activities to encourage them to think from different perspectives, thus building up their positive views on life and values. The report also points out that the goals of our school curriculum are clear, focusing on fostering students' all-round development. The English focus inspection report by the EDB shows that our school has put a large amount of resources, especially human resources, in English Language teaching. Our school principal has been passionate about the key learning area of English Language Education. Our school attaches great importance to students' English Language learning. The School Sponsoring Body has employed an additional English consultant and Native English teachers, and English split-class teaching is implemented in all levels. In the recent five years, the average passing percentage of Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination were about 98% and 94% which is higher than the average passing percentage of Hong Kong. There were eleven subjects with passing rates higher than 90%, in which six subjects had 100% passing rate. Furthermore, there were quite a number of subjects with the percentage of Level 4 or above higher than that of Hong Kong day school students. The percentage of students entering the JUPAS bachelor degree programme is much higher than the territory-wide level and the value-added results of four core subjects, best five subjects and several elective subjects are higher than the Hong Kong average. Our school has further utilized additional funding for group teaching in four core subjects and most of the elective subjects in Secondary 4, 5 and 6. This has substantially increased the teacher-student ratio and the interaction between teachers and students. More frequent feedbacks during lessons can be achieved so as to improve teaching effectiveness.

School-based curriculum:
1. Electives: 2X. Our school offers 11 electives, Applied Learning programmes, Japanese elective and Mathematics (Extended Part Module 1) for students.
2. Curriculum highlights: The School Sponsoring Body has employed an additional English Language consultant to review the whole English curriculum. Mini-lesson study is held in English lessons in junior forms to ensure a smooth transition from junior to senior levels. Citizenship and Social Development and Liberal Studies teachers work together to develop the teaching materials for Senior Secondary curriculum during common preparation periods. Our school also offers Chinese and Mathematics split class teaching to students from S.1 to S.3. Our S.2 STEAM team teachers have joined the School-based Support Services, which are provided by the EDB to support the curriculum planning on STEAM to cater for students' learning diversity and enhance self learning. Moreover, our school has joined the Support Scheme for e-learning in schools, which allows students to use tablets for their interactive learning. A wireless network has been installed in the whole school, which facilitates learning and teaching with I.T.. For example, by using the devices, our S.1 students can access the school-based English reading materials in class and interact with their teachers, thus increasing their interest and effectiveness in learning English and raising their English Language proficiency. The school also purchases tablets for students in need to support e-learning at home through the "Community Care Fund Assistance Programme - Provision of Subsidy to Needy Primary and Secondary Students for Purchasing Mobile Computer Devices to Facilitate the Practice of e-Learning".

Development of the Four Key Tasks:
Our school has made outstanding achievements in moral and civic education, which covers comprehensive topics including endurance, respect, responsibility, national identity and Media and Information literacy etc. To act in concert with the curriculum reform, Information Technology teaching, STEAM, favorable reading atmosphere and project-based learning are set as the main domains of teaching and learning at school. The school also actively promotes e-learning to support students' home learning under the epidemic.

Life Planning Education:
Our school promotes career planning education at all levels. For example, all S.5 and S.6 students are provided with face-to-face individual counselling services by YMCA social workers.
