Whole-school Language Policy:
Our school places great emphasis on Bi-literacy and Tri-lingualism. S.1 - S.3 Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are taught in English, as a strategy of English Enhancement. One class in each form of junior secondary has Chinese Language taught in Putonghua. For S.4 and above, the M.O.I. is either Chinese or English, contingent on students' ability and wish. Small class teaching is adopted according to students’ needs and ability in order to increase the interaction between students and teachers. Gifted students have to attend Elite Class to further raise their English standard. Owing to the change of the Medium of Instruction, we arranged English Bridging Course for Secondary 1 students in Summer holiday. To promote and strengthen English speaking in school, a native English teacher (NET) is employed and an English Cafe is set up. Our school has joined Overseas Exchange Programme organized by AFS International Exchanges. One foreign student is arranged to study in our school every year. Also, students are exposed to more opportunities to enhance their English by joining Best English Speaker Award Scheme, English Day, English Fun Fair and delivering English speeches in morning assembly.

Learning and Teaching Strategies:
Our school encourages whole-person development and helps students develop their potentials. Every year, each subject sets the teaching plan, tailors and revises the curriculum based on students' ability. Our teachers have high expectations of students and are willing to shoulder responsibilities, so they adopt different pedagogical methods to ensure students learn effectively. The strategies include:
1. Emphasis on perseverance in learning;
2. Emphasis on self-directed learning including lesson preparation and extended activity;
3. Emphasis on high-order thinking and require students to think in multiple perspectives;
4. Enhancement of English learning environment by employing more English teachers;
5. To promote STEM education, cross-curricular project is promoted among science subjects;
6. Chinese/English extensive reading schemes;
7. Publication of Chinese Anthology, English Anthology and School Magazine;
8. Project-based learning to train students' generic skills;
9. Small group teaching; and
10.Promote e-learning by "Bring Your Own Device"(BYOD) scheme to enhance students' self-learning ability.

School-based curriculum:
1. Electives: 2X and 3X. Senior-form students may select two to three elective subjects, joint-schools program and Applied learning subjects.
2. Curriculum highlights: S.1 - S.3 Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are taught in English; streaming; small-class teaching for slow learners. Senior form students have to take 4 core subjects together with 11 elective subjects and extended part II of Mathematics for students to choose and some subjects have both Chinese and English as the Medium of Instruction. Development of the Four Key Tasks:
We place emphasize on moral education, so moral messages are conveyed to students in assembly. In line with it, teachers of Citizenship and Social Development subject try to cultivate students to become informed and responsible citizen with a sense of national identity and global perspective. Our school has Morning Reading Scheme for students to share reading experiences with their classmates. To encourage reading, school library organizes activities such as reading award scheme, book report competition and rewriting stories competition. Secondary 1 students will attend library lessons to enhance their skill of information searching. Each subject requires students to do project learning depending on the needs of the classes to develop students' generic skills. All classrooms have equipped with a computer, interactive electronic whiteboard and wireless network for teachers to conduct electronic teaching effectively. At the same time, our school has adopted e-learning system, teaching and learning can be conducted through Intranet. This year, e-learning is conducted in all subjects in order to strengthen interactive teaching and learning. In order to cultivate students' ability of "learning to learn", our school promotes self regulated learning(SRL). By arranging a SRL lesson for Secondary 1 and 2 students, we provide space for students to undergo self-learning and establish students' self-learning habits.
