Just a few months ago, a brand-new Chinese restaurant, Dim Sum one, was on its first exposure to the public located in Central. Dim Sum One has attracted a vast amount of Chinese food lovers and received an overall positive comment. I am glad I got the chance to give it a try, and here is my review!
Food
Being a new Chinese restaurant, Dim Sum One targets high-quality traditional food Dim Sum. Just like what its owner Peter Wong said, ”within ten years, we will be the top Chinese restaurant in this food paradise''. They have great ambition and provide delicious food. I think their “Fantasy Bum'' is the best as it is made totally by your will which means you can choose the ingredients in the sauce and they will serve you with a tasty product. It’s hand-made and tastes a lot better than other restaurants, however, there is one thing I want to criticize for, that is they buy fish balls and Siu Mai from the supermarket instead of creating them themselves, it’s way too disappointing!
Service
Their service is quite customer-friendly. From my observation, the chefs may come to you and ask for your opinion about the foods they made. It is very important for a restaurant to ask for the customer's feedback and make improvements. Besides they also design a birthday special party for kids aged under 14. It is warming that I saw them singing birthday songs to a little girl. It is for sure that their service is excellent!
Environment
The restaurant is located near Victoria Harbor, thus you will be able to view an eye-catching scenario picturing the crystal clear water and sky while you enjoy your meal. But one thing to note is that it took me 30 minutes searching for it therefore that is its discredit.
Price
Worrying that a high-quality restaurant requires you to spend a big budget? Don't worry! For the first year, they have a 30% discount for everyone! The average price is around $60 KD a person per meal, but if you want to try tailor-made foods. it may be more expensive.
In short, I would recommend this restaurant to all of you. It is worth a try and suits family gathering the best! Don’t hesitate, go for it!
